How You Can Help

  • Share Information--If you know someone who has been abused, listen without judging. Let them know that you support and care about them. Let them know that they are not responsible for the abuse, and that the violence will probably continue and possibly escalate. Inform them of our services and encourage them to call or come to our office. One of our organization's goals is to provide information to the public about domestic violence and sexual assault. Invite us to speak to your club, religious organization, class or business.
  • Volunteer--Crisis Intervention Services welcomes people to volunteer time and skills to help provide services and community education. To volunteer you can be: a shelter advocate, a child advocate, a member of the Fund Raising Committee or Board of Directors. Download applications for Volunteers and Board Members now (you will need Adobe Acrobat reader to view these files--click here to download Adobe Acrobat reader).
  • Monetary Donation--Crisis Intervention Services is a nonprofit organization supported by local, state and federal grants and donations from individuals, organizations and corporations in our community. We need your support in our efforts to end violence in the lives of others. All donations are welcome and appreciated.
  • Apply to work--Please download and complete our employment application.
