Who We Are

The mission of Crisis Intervention Services is to provide support, resources, and hope for a better future to persons affected by domestic abuse, sexual assault, and other crises.

Crisis Intervention Services believes that everyone has the right to freedom from violence and oppression. We commit ourselves to this vision through intervention, prevention, and education. We are advocates for social change within our community, our state, and the nation.

Crisis Intervention Services is a nonprofit organization supported by local, state and federal grants and donations from individuals, organizations and corporations in our community. We recognize that to be successful, community involvement and awareness are essential.

Crisis Intervention Services is also supported by United Way of Mahaska County and Marion County.
